| JR finished his Championship going WD at the Illinois Golden Retriever Specialty Nov, 2001 at age 2, handled by Kristi Howe. On his way to his championship, he also took BOW for a 4 point major at the Central Iowa Kennel Club shows. He also got a major reserve at the Des Moines Golden Retriever Club Specialty (owner-handled). He completed his Canadian Championship in just 2 weekends getting a Best of Breed over specials including a Group 1 and several group placements, handled by my niece Kandice O’Grady. JR has a wonderful Golden temperament, eager to please and loves to sit on your lap. He is currently competing in agility and in the Veterans conformation classes. JR exhibits stunning movement, great level top line, wonderful shoulder assembly, balanced and correct front and rear angles, great head type with alert expression, dark eyes, plenty of bone, excellent neck length, full dentition, jet black pigment year round and a beautiful coat. He is 23 ½” tall , weighing 75-80 lbs. |
