Kandice developed an interest in dogs when spending time with me. She tagged along to everything from training classes to dog shows taking it all in.

When I realized it wasn’t just a passing fancy I got her into dog handling classes and junior showmanship. It just came naturally for her. She had an awesome junior show run. She was ranked as #1 in Minnesota, #4 in Golden Retrievers and #16 overall in the Sporting group in 2005. We were invited and attended the prestigious Westminster Show in New York, and also the AKC Invitational in Fla. Kandice’s best memory is of winning Best Junior Handler at the National Golden Retriever Specialty in Malibu, CA in 2004. That was quite a thrill.

Kandice finished her junior career when she turned 18. She is now attending Bethel University in St Paul, MN. She just completed her sophomore year after studying abroad for 4 mos in Belize. She still shows dogs for other folks when her schedule allows. You can contact her through this website.
